Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Architectural Engineering from an ABET-accredited college or university; 10+ years of experience.
• Master's degree can substitute up to 1 year of experience.
• Professional Engineering (PE) license is required.
• Advanced knowledge of engineering design and AEC codes/standards.
• Experience creating and maintaining engineering standards/tools.

Responsibilities

• Mentor and coach junior staff and engineers across teams.
• Lead projects from concept through completion and ensure on-time delivery.
• Coordinate design requirements with architects, contractors and engineers.
• Perform calculations and guide design documents, ensuring quality and budget adherence.
• Oversee quality reviews and review in-progress work for accuracy.
• Attend owner/client/architect meetings and visit sites as needed.
• Maintain advanced knowledge of codes/standards through trainings and self-study.
• Apply local, state, and federal regulations to project designs.
• Participate in events to build client relationships.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
