Job summary

CESO, Inc. is hiring a Mechanical Project Engineer I in Ohio to design and manage mechanical systems across diverse projects. You will work under supervision with senior staff, develop layouts and calculations, and coordinate with architects, contractors, and clients to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.

The role requires a PE license, a ABET-accredited degree, and 5+ years of experience. Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, Carrier HAP, and BlueBeam Revu is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Architectural Engineering and 5+ years of relevant experience required
• PE license required
• Advanced knowledge of engineering design, AEC industry, codes and standards required
• Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook and timekeeping software
• Advanced knowledge of AutoCAD, Revit, Carrier HAP and BlueBeam Revu

Responsibilities

• Begin to take responsibility for project designs under supervision
• Coordinate with architects, contractors and engineers to determine scope and equipment needs
• Attend meetings with owners, clients or architects and observe sites
• Develop system layouts, drawings and schedules using CAD/BIM tools
• Create and review heating/cooling load calculations in Carrier HAP
• Model airside and waterside systems and equipment
• Prepare and modify studies, plans and specifications
• Review work for technical accuracy before QA/QC
