Job summary

CESO, Inc. is seeking a Mechanical Project Engineer I in Akron, OH. The role involves independent execution of technical tasks on varied projects, with guidance from senior staff to ensure timely, on-budget delivery compliant with industry standards.

You will design and model using AutoCAD and Revit, develop Carrier HAP load calculations, and participate in client meetings and site visits. The position offers a flexible hybrid work schedule and opportunities for professional growth.

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Architectural Engineering and 5+ years of relevant experience.
• PE license is required.
• Advanced knowledge of engineering design, codes and standards.

Responsibilities

• Develop designs under supervision with Engineer of Record oversight.
• Coordinate with architects, contractors, engineers and vendors for scope and equipment.
• Attend meetings and visit project sites to verify conditions and progress.
• Create system layouts, drawings and schedules using Revit/AutoCAD.
• Develop load calculations using Carrier HAP; model air and waterside systems.
• Review drawings for technical accuracy and support QA/QC discussions.
