Job summary

Stanley Consultants in the United States is seeking a Mechanical Engineer with facility design experience to join our team. You will lead design tasks, mentor junior staff, and collaborate on HVAC, plumbing, and energy infrastructure projects across multiple sites.

The ideal candidate has 8–15 years of related experience, a BS in Mechanical Engineering from ABET-accredited program, and PE or the ability to obtain one within a year. Hybrid work options are available.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from an ABET-accredited four-year college.
• 8+ years of relevant facility design experience.
• Possess PE, or able to obtain PE within 1 year.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a technical liaison with clients on project efforts and coordinates technical efforts within discipline areas.
• Support preparation of engineering and cost estimating reports through data collection and analysis.
• Prepare and check design computations for system design, equipment sizing, and conditions of service.
• Assist in the preparation of technical specifications for equipment and material.
• Lead and mentor 2D/3D designers and less experienced engineers to develop designs and drawings.
• Work with design and equipment sizing software to prepare engineering and design documents.
• Perform or assist with field or site visits for observations, data collection, and documentation needs.
• Consult with construction personnel on design constructability related to field conditions, sequencing, and scheduling.
• Other related duties as assigned by the Department Manager or Project Manager.
