Job summary

Stantec is seeking a Mission Critical Facilities Project Engineer to advance technically challenging data center designs. You will work under a Senior Project Engineer, guiding Designers, and ensuring quality throughout the design process.

This role supports multiple locations with strong collaboration across disciplines. You will lead mechanical design efforts using AutoCAD, Revit and BIM 360, participate in evaluations of equipment, and coordinate with clients and vendors while pursuing

Qualifications

Accredited engineering degree or equivalent experience.
7+ years related industry experience; data center preferred.
PE license preferred; professional certification valued.
Proficiency with AutoCAD, Revit, BIM 360; hydraulic and CFD tools.

Responsibilities

Develops advanced systems designs within own discipline with limited supervision.
Delegates tasks to project designers as appropriate.
Prepares project deliverables (drawings, specifications, reports).
Assists in evaluating and selecting mechanical equipment.
Coordinates with all disciplines to integrate work and client requests.
Reviews deliverables and QA/QC processes per procedures.
Supports and assists Senior Project Engineer on tasks.
Acts as mechanical lead on projects as directed.
