Job summary

Stantec's Buildings team seeks an MCF Project Engineer to perform technical duties under a Senior Project Engineer, delivering design work for data center facilities. You will guide designers, ensure quality and coordinate across disciplines to meet client needs.

This role offers growth via involvement in technically challenging projects and opportunities to stay current with industry practices. Open to multiple Stantec offices with required travel.

Qualifications

• Accredited engineering degree or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 7+ years related industry experience; datacenter experience preferred.
• Registered professional engineer (PE) license or related certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develops advanced systems designs within own discipline with limited supervision.
• Delegates tasks to project designers as appropriate.
• Prepares project deliverables (drawings, specs, reports) per client intent and scope.
• Assists in the evaluation and selection of mechanical equipment.
• Coordinates with all disciplines to integrate work with client requests.
• Follows quality management process and reviews deliverables before QA/QC.
