Job summary

Stantec is seeking a Mission Critical Facilities Project Engineer to join our Buildings team. The role executes technical work under supervision, guides Designers, and ensures design quality for data center projects across locations. Eligible for multiple U.S.

sites including Chicago, IL and Chandler, AZ. You will develop advanced mechanical systems, coordinate with disciplines, review deliverables, and support senior engineers through project life cycles, learning and growing within a

Qualifications

• Accredited engineering degree or equivalent experience required.
• Minimum 7+ years related industry experience required. Datacenter experience preferred.
• Registered professional engineer (PE) license, or other professional certification based on area of expertise preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develops advanced systems designs within own discipline with limited supervision.
• Prepares project deliverables (drawings, specifications, reports etc.) per the client’s scope.
• Assists in evaluation and selection of mechanical equipment.
• Coordinates with all disciplines to integrate work and client requests.
• Reviews shop drawings, RFIs, site reports, and attend coordination meetings.
