Job summary

Sprouts Farmers Market is seeking an Assistant Meat Manager to lead the Meat & Seafood team in providing exceptional service and fresh, high-quality products. You will help customers make healthy choices and support a fast-paced, team-oriented store environment.

You will assist in ordering, inventory controls, scheduling, training, and enforcing safety standards, while guiding staff to deliver the best possible shopping experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years professional experience in grocery retail meat department.
• 2-3 years meat department processes preferred.
• Must be able to stand for up to 8 hours and lift heavy items.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Meat & Seafood Manager in merchandising the department for maximum productivity and profit.
• Responsible for ordering and inventory controls, product quality, and supervision of the Meat & Seafood team.
• Coordinate production, merchandising, and sales through planning, direction, goal setting, communication, and teamwork.
• Assist in hiring, teaching, training, developing the Meat & Seafood team.
