Job summary

Sprouts Farmers Market is seeking an Assistant Meat Manager to help customers make healthy choices while leading one of the store's busiest teams. You will assist in managing meat and seafood operations, ensuring product quality, and delivering exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires 2+ years of grocery retail experience with leadership skills, a flexible schedule, and strong communication abilities.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years professional experience in grocery retail, Meat department preferred.
• Proven leadership experience and ability to manage a team.
• Outgoing and friendly demeanor with positive attitude.
• Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Good communication skills and ability to follow directions.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Meat & Seafood Manager in managing and merchandising the department for maximum productivity and profit.
• Responsible for ordering and inventory controls, product quality, and supervision of the Meat & Seafood team.
• Coordinate production, merchandising, and sales through planning, direction, goal setting, communication, and teamwork.
• Lead a team that delivers highest quality product and service to customers.
• Assist in hiring, teaching, training, and developing the Meat & Seafood team.
