Job summary

RTX is seeking a Principal Manufacturing Development Engineer for its Tucson, AZ facility. The role involves leading projects across value streams, developing Manufacturing Data Packages, and providing engineering input to designs.

You will collaborate with factory engineers and cross-functional teams to optimize producibility and costs. Requires a STEM degree and 8+ years of manufacturing experience, with the ability to obtain interim Secret clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) required.
• Experience in manufacturing production and process development/improvement.
• Ability to obtain interim Secret U.S. government-issued security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate projects across extended value streams.
• Develop Manufacturing Data Packages (MDPs) including instructions and labor standards.
• Provide technical input to engineering designs and changes.
• Apply manufacturing engineering skills to resolve constraints and improve processes.
