Job summary

RTX is seeking a Principal Manufacturing Development Engineer to lead and coordinate manufacturing improvements at our Tucson, AZ facility. You will build strong internal relationships and drive progress across value streams, delivering Manufacturing Data Packages, workflow updates, and labor standards.

You will guide factory engineers, review designs, and apply manufacturing engineering skills to resolve constraints and improve product designs across programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) is required.
• Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in manufacturing.
• Experience with manufacturing process development or improvement.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate projects across extended value streams and engage stakeholders.
• Develop Manufacturing Data Packages (MDPs) with instructions and tooling specs.
• Provide technical guidance on designs and revisions to engineers.
• Improve producibility and resolve constraints across the program.
