Job summary

HSL Asset Management LLC in Oro Valley, AZ is seeking a Lead Maintenance Technician to oversee hands-on repairs across apartment communities and ensure safe, functional living spaces for residents.

Responsibilities include scheduling maintenance, supervising technicians, handling service requests within 24 hours when possible, and coordinating with the Community Director for emergencies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma / GED or Accredited Vocational School Certificate education or equivalent experience.
• One to three years of related maintenance experience.
• Full-time maintenance experience or experience in related field.
• Ability to supervise skilled and unskilled workers.
• Maintain open lines of communication with internal and external contacts.
• Concern for work-safety programs.

Responsibilities

• Perform electrical, plumbing, carpentry and painting tasks as needed.
• Supervise technicians and coordinate maintenance activities.
• Maintain accurate records of preventive maintenance, service requests and inventories.
• Participate in standby emergency coverage and after-hours support as required.
• Ensure resident safety and satisfaction through timely maintenance and responsive service.
