Job summary

HSL Asset Management LLC is seeking a detail-oriented Maintenance Technician in Oro Valley, AZ. You will maintain appearance, safety, and functionality of an apartment community while handling repairs and preventative maintenance.

Responsibilities include servicing HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems and appliances, plus preparing homes for new residents and keeping records. Vets in a fast-paced, team-driven environment with opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

High School Diploma, GED, or vocational certification.
Minimum 1 year of apartment maintenance or related experience.
Valid driver's license, insurance, and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

Perform service requests and maintenance repairs promptly and professionally.
Troubleshoot and repair HVAC systems, plumbing, electrical, appliances, carpentry, and general maintenance issues.
Complete preventative maintenance to maximize equipment performance.
Prepare apartment homes for new residents, including make-ready and quality inspections.
Maintain community amenities, common areas, and grounds to company standards.
Identify and address safety concerns throughout the property.
Assist with emergency maintenance and participate in the on-call rotation as scheduled.
Maintain accurate maintenance records and communicate with management and residents.
Work with the Maintenance Supervisor and Community Director to deliver resident service.
