Job summary

HSL Asset Management LLC is seeking a dependable Maintenance Technician for our Camino Seco property in Tucson, AZ. You will maintain appearance, safety, and operation of the apartment community.

Responsibilities include handling service requests, troubleshooting HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliances, and completing preventative maintenance; preparing homes for new residents; and assisting with on-call rotation. Strong customer service and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or vocational certification.
• Minimum 1 year of apartment maintenance or related maintenance experience.
• Valid driver's license, current automobile insurance, and reliable transportation for business-related responsibilities.
• Working knowledge of HVAC systems, Plumbing, Electrical, Appliances, Carpentry, and General building maintenance.
• Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Bilingual Spanish is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Perform service requests and maintenance repairs promptly and professionally.
• Troubleshoot and repair HVAC systems, plumbing, electrical, appliances, carpentry, and general maintenance issues.
• Complete preventative maintenance to maximize equipment performance.
• Prepare apartment homes for new residents, including make-ready and quality inspections.
• Maintain community amenities, common areas, and grounds to company standards.
• Identify and address safety concerns throughout the property.
• Assist with emergency maintenance and participate in the on-call rotation as scheduled.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and communicate effectively with management and residents.
• Work collaboratively with the Maintenance Supervisor and Community Director to deliver resident service.
