MG Properties is seeking a Lead Maintenance Technician for Sonoran Apartments in Phoenix, AZ. The role covers maintenance across all trades, emergency response, and ensuring a safe, well-kept community for residents.

The candidate will oversee maintenance staff, manage service requests within 24 hours when possible, and uphold EPA/HAZCOM safety standards while coordinating with the Maintenance Supervisor.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of property maintenance experience.
• Experience in plumbing, electrical, AC, and related trades.
• Strong customer service orientation and teamwork.
• Valid driver's license with liability insurance.
• Knowledge of safety standards, OSHA regulations.
• HVAC knowledge and EPA/HAZCOM familiarity.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance tasks personally or supervise technicians.
• Coordinate emergency maintenance and 24/7 coverage with manager.
• Conduct preventive maintenance and safety meetings.
• Maintain inventory of parts and tools; track expenditures.
• Make-ready repairs and unit turnovers; ensure timely completion.
• Assist with grounds, common areas upkeep, and safety compliance.
