Job summary

MG Properties is seeking a Lead Maintenance Technician for Sonoran Apartments in Phoenix, AZ. The role oversees maintenance tasks, coordinates staff, and ensures timely handling of service requests while maintaining safety and property standards.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years in apartment maintenance, multi-trades expertise, and strong customer service. HVAC/certifications and familiarity with Yardi are preferred, with an on-site, 24/7 availability in a 200+ unit setting.

Qualifications

• Two years’ property maintenance experience or equivalent.
• Grace Hill/Yardi On-Line Training – Essential Skills for New Supervisor and Conflict Resolution for Supervisors.
• Proficient use of Yardi Maintenance Systems for service requests.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance tasks personally or delegate to Technicians.
• Oversee and inspect work by Technicians; manage service requests within 24 hours when possible.
• Coordinate maintenance staff schedules and respond to emergencies 24/7 with manager support.
• Maintain safety standards and inventory of parts; ensure proper records and reports.
