Job summary

Vivmark Residential in Carrollton, TX seeks a Lead Maintenance Technician to join our team. This full-time role focuses on ensuring safety, comfort, and functionality across our properties, diagnosing and repairing issues to keep the community in top condition.

With 3+ years of maintenance experience, you will lead and mentor technicians, perform preventative maintenance, and coordinate with residents to deliver exceptional living experiences.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in maintenance work, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general maintenance.
• Valid driver’s license.
• HVAC (CFC certifications required or willingness to learn).
• Ability to accommodate an on-call schedule in rotation with the team.
• Ability to communicate with residents to provide customer service.
• Knowledge of safety policies, PPE, and reading SDS.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair problems in HVAC, electrical, plumbing, major appliances, carpentry, emergency systems, flooring, and painting.
• Assist with creating and organizing work orders and maintenance tasks.
• Ensure vacant apartment homes and garages are rent-ready in a timely manner.
• Train, mentor, and oversee Maintenance Technicians I and II.
• Conduct preventative maintenance (PM).
• Inspect community grounds and buildings daily to identify maintenance needs.
• Maintain a safety culture following Vivmark policies.
• Perform hot works (brazing, soldering, welding) as applicable.
