Job summary

CBRE Group, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Technician III to support the maintenance and operation of building systems at a client facility. You will lead a shift, mentor technicians, and ensure high reliability of materials handling equipment and SCADA-related systems.

The role emphasizes preventive maintenance optimization, emergency repairs, and strong safety practices. A background in electrical/electronic principles and PLCs is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 4+ years of experience with automated conveyors and controls.
• Proficient with computers and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Experience with MHE safety standards (OEM and safety standards).
• Knowledge of electrical and electronic principles, NEC.
• Ability to read blueprints and schematics.
• Experience with PLC programs.
• 3+ years of work order management.
• Ability to interpret statistics for metrics like OEE/Uptime.

Responsibilities

• Repair, maintain, and improve MHE and robotic systems.
• Lead and audit preventative maintenance procedures.
• Install and troubleshoot relay logic, ladder diagrams, control components, sensors, and actuators.
• Lead and mentor maintenance teams; develop training plans.
• Create and close work orders in CMMS.
• Cultivate positive relationships with client and operations teams.
• Promote a safe working environment by following procedures.
