Job summary

CBRE Group, Inc. is seeking a Sr. Maintenance Technician to lead maintenance on material handling equipment and robotic systems in a client facility. You will oversee a shift, mentor technicians, and support automation engineers, focusing on preventive maintenance to maximize equipment reliability and uptime.

You will troubleshoot PLCs, relay logic, and control components, while managing safety and working closely with the client and operations teams to ensure smooth facility operations.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience working with automated conveyors and controls.
• Proficient using computers and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Experience with MHE safety standards per OEM and safety standards.
• Knowledge of electrical and electronic principles, NEC, and/or industrial electronics.
• Ability to conduct preventative & procedure-based maintenance.
• Experience reading blueprints and schematics.
• Experience with PLC programs.
• 3+ years of work order management.
• Ability to use and interpret statistical equipment to run metrics such as OEE/Up Time.

Responsibilities

• Repair, maintain, and improve functionality of materials handling equipment (MHE) and robotic systems.
• Lead and audit preventive maintenance procedures.
• Install, maintain, and solve relay logic, ladder diagrams, control components, sensors, motor starters, limit switches, etc.
• Lead and mentor work plans for emergency repair of critical assets and training plans for technicians.
• Build and close out work orders in CMMS.
• Foster positive relationships with client and operations teams.
• Promote safe working environment by following procedures.
