Job summary

Vivmark Residential in Brooklyn, NY is seeking a Lead Maintenance Technician to ensure safety, comfort, and functionality across its properties. You will diagnose problems, perform repairs, and mentor junior technicians while coordinating with residents and property management.

The role requires 3+ years in maintenance, HVAC, electrical, and plumbing knowledge, a valid driver’s license, and an on-call rotation.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in maintenance work including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general maintenance repair.
• Valid driver’s license required and willingness to learn HVAC certifications.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair HVAC, electrical, plumbing, appliances, and general maintenance issues.
• Assist with organizing work orders and ensure timely completion.
• Ensure vacants are rent-ready with turnkey work as needed.
• Mentor Maintenance Technicians I and II and oversee projects.
• Perform preventative maintenance and daily site inspections.
• Maintain safety culture and follow all policies.
• Handle hot works (brazing, soldering, welding) per standards.
