Job summary

Vivmark Residential is seeking a Lead Maintenance Technician in Westbury, NY to maintain safety, comfort, and functionality across our properties. You will diagnose problems and perform repairs to uphold high living standards.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of maintenance experience, including HVAC, plumbing, and electrical.
• Valid driver's license.
• HVAC (CFC) certifications or willingness to learn.
• Ability to work on-call in rotation.
• Effective communication with team and residents.
• Ability to read and understand safety and maintenance policies.
• Knowledge of PPE and safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair HVAC, electrical, plumbing, appliances and carpentry.
• Create and organize work orders and maintenance tasks.
• Complete work orders in line with standards and timelines.
• Ensure vacant homes and garages are rent-ready.
• Train and supervise Maintenance Technicians I and II.
• Perform Preventative Maintenance (PM).
• Inspect grounds and buildings daily for maintenance needs.
• Maintain safety culture and follow safety policies.
• Perform hot works (brazing, soldering, welding) when applicable.
