Baxter is seeking a Lead Maintenance Technician in Hayward, CA to support the maintenance and facility management team, ensuring preventive and corrective programs meet safety, quality, and capacity goals.

You will troubleshoot, maintain, and repair manufacturing equipment while adhering to SOPs and cGMPs in a Medical Device Manufacturing facility. The role requires 5+ years of relevant experience and strong CMMS skills.

Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 5+ years of experience in facility/manufacturing/production maintenance required.
• Mechanical maintenance knowledge: pneumatics, pumps, valves, cylinders, labeling equipment, conveyors, and continuous inkjet printers; high-speed packaging equipment a plus.
• Electrical knowledge: AC/DC motors and drives, 480V 3-phase, relays, switches, sensors, temperature controllers, servo motors a plus.
• CMMS experience; Maximo preferred.
• Capable of reading electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, and part diagrams.
• Ability to identify issues and implement solutions; self-directed and able to handle repetitive tasks; confidential information handling.
• Clean-room environment work and PPE adherence required.
• Strong skills in Access, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and related software.

Aufgaben

• Plan, coordinate, and issue preventive maintenance assignments; ensure on-time completion and maintain records.
• Support maintenance, facilities, and engineering activities including 3rd party support and capital projects; communicate with colleagues and management.
• Resolve issues related to equipment, process, facilities, and compliance; perform unscheduled maintenance and respond to trouble calls.
• Lead Maintenance and Facilities Tier meetings and shift pass-downs; track activities and EH&S benchmarks.
• Operate and maintain the CMMS (Maximo) and manage spare parts; coordinate parts ordering from third parties.
• Adhere to SOPs and cGMP in a Medical Device Manufacturing environment; ensure safety and quality of produced products.
• Assist with site shutdown planning and coordination with contractors; support various facility programs (EHS, pest control, cleaning, security, energy, utilities).
• Flexible hours on Saturdays and Sundays as needed.
