Job summary

Greystar seeks a Maintenance Lead to supervise and perform critical on-site maintenance across units, grounds, and common areas. You will diagnose defects, perform repairs, and ensure safety, cleanliness, and function in alignment with company standards.

You will manage make-ready tasks, inventory, and inspections while coordinating with the Area Maintenance Manager. Strong tools, safety adherence, and a proactive service approach are essential.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• EPA certifications Type I and II or Universal for refrigerant recycling required.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and perform the completion of work orders and preventative maintenance.
• Lead make-ready processes to prepare vacant units for leasing.
• Track inventory, obtain supplies, and coordinate with vendors.
• Monitor inspections via Leonardo 247, Entrata, and other platforms.
• Document work orders timely and accurately for record-keeping.
• Maintain grounds, common areas, and amenities; perform cleaning and minor repairs.
• Support cost-cutting by repairing parts where feasible rather than replacing.
