Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Maintenance Technician to ensure clean, safe, and well-maintained apartment communities. You will diagnose issues, perform repairs, and support make-ready processes for new move-ins.

The role requires experience in property maintenance, use of hand and power tools, and strong customer service. A valid driver's license is required for on-site duties and potential vendor coordination.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or related experience and training.
• Experience in property management maintenance or related trade.
• Must provide own hand tools and be skilled with hand tools, power tools, and measuring devices.
• Strong customer service and communication skills with residents and team members.

Responsibilities

• Respond to service requests and perform routine maintenance to meet Greystar standards.
• Oversee make-ready process for vacant units and coordinate vendors as needed.
• Set maintenance standards for grounds, exteriors, interiors, and common areas to reflect Greystar quality.
• Inspect work by others and contractors to ensure quality and compliance with policies.
• Maintain inventory of parts and materials and assist in budget planning and cost control.
• Participate in monthly preventive maintenance procedures and safety compliance.
