Job summary

Nordstrom is hiring a Maintenance Technician 3 to lead a team and ensure a safe, well-maintained store environment across multiple Nordstrom stores and Nordstrom Rack locations. You will support the Facility Manager in keeping HVAC, vertical transportation, restaurants, entries and signs fully operational.

Responsibilities include directing on-demand and planned maintenance, mentoring junior techs, and coordinating with vendors and store leadership.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Associates or higher degree from a vocational school or college preferred.
• Willingness to travel to multiple locations.
• 5+ years hands-on facilities experience with emphasis in mechanical (HVAC, refrigeration, plumbing, electrical).
• 5+ years experience with predictive and preventative maintenance procedures.
• Able to read electrical schematics and blueprints.
• Previous CMMS experience.
• Able to troubleshoot low voltage signals and electronic logic.
• Self-motivated with ability to meet deadlines without supervision.
• Strong written and verbal communication with all levels.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor MT1 & MT2 technicians.
• Perform preventive maintenance on critical and non-critical equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair building systems, alarms, and equipment.
• Coordinate parts, vendors, and project meetings.
• Assist with safety compliance and safe work practices.
