Job summary

Nordstrom is seeking a Maintenance Technician II to lead a team in delivering a safe, well-maintained store environment across multiple Nordstrom stores and Nordstrom Rack locations. The role focuses on preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and coordinating with the Facility Manager to ensure readiness for daily business.

Responsibilities include supervising on-demand and planned maintenance, managing parts and vendor relations, and ensuring safety compliance.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED required; associates or higher preferred.
• 5-7 years hands-on facilities experience with a focus on mechanical maintenance.
• 5+ years of predictive and preventative maintenance experience.
• Experience with HVAC, refrigeration, carpentry, plumbing, electrical and mechanical repairs.
• Able to troubleshoot basic input/output functions and low voltage signal tracing.
• Ability to work without supervision and meet multiple deadlines.
• Experience with CMMS and Coupa purchasing system.

Responsibilities

• Lead and perform preventive maintenance on critical and non-critical equipment.
• Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical problems in Store Operations.
• Operate and monitor building controls and systems.
• Document maintenance procedures and mentor other technicians.
• Assist with administrative tasks such as parts ordering and vendor management.
• Promote a safe working environment and follow safety procedures.
• Respond to location emergencies and coordinate with FM.
