Job summary

Nordstrom is seeking a Maintenance Technician II to lead a team in maintaining a safe, well‑functioning store environment. You will support the Facilities Manager, oversee preventive maintenance, and ensure building systems are ready for daily operations.

You will mentor technicians, handle on‑demand requests, manage parts and vendor communication, and uphold safety standards while coordinating across Nordstrom stores and rack locations.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; Associate degree or higher preferred.
• 5-7 years hands-on facilities experience with mechanical maintenance.
• 5+ years in predictive and preventive maintenance.
• 5+ years of HVAC, refrigeration, carpentry, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical skills.
• Ability to troubleshoot basic input/output and low voltage signals.

Responsibilities

• Lead and perform preventive maintenance on critical and non-critical equipment.
• Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical problems related to Store Operations.
• Operate and monitor building controls and systems; manage alarms.
• Mentor other technicians and delegate work orders as needed.
• Assist with parts ordering, vendor management, and meetings.
• Promote safety by following LOTO, PPE, and safety protocols.
