Job summary

Nordstrom is seeking a Maintenance Technician II to lead a team ensuring a safe, well-maintained store environment. You will support the Facility Manager, manage preventive maintenance, and coordinate with vendors to keep Nordstrom stores ready for business.

You will mentor technicians, document maintenance activities in CMMS, and assist with training while ensuring safety compliance and efficient operations across multiple Nordstrom stores and Nordstrom Rack locations.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; Associate degree preferred.
• 5–7 years of hands-on facilities experience with mechanical maintenance.
• 5+ years performing predictive and preventative maintenance.
• 5+ years working with HVAC, refrigeration, carpentry, plumbing, electrical and mechanical repairs.

Responsibilities

• Lead and perform preventive maintenance on critical and non-critical equipment.
• Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical problems related to Store Operations.
• Operate and monitor building controls and systems; troubleshoot alarms.
• Mentor other technicians and assist with training.
• Coordinate with vendors, parts ordering, and meetings.
• Maintain CMMS records and update equipment history.
