Job summary

Vista Management is seeking a Maintenance Technician I to support the maintenance team across the community. You will assist in daily operations, perform advanced repairs, and help prepare units for resident move-ins while maintaining safety and quality standards.

The role requires technical skills in electrical, plumbing, and HVAC, a high school diploma, and a couple of years of relevant experience. HVAC and EPA certifications are preferred, and a valid driver’s license is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• 2 years of experience performing maintenance duties.
• HVAC CFC preferred.
• EPA approved certification preferred.
• CPO certification preferred.
• HVAC experience at a property is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist Maintenance Manager/Community Manager with daily activities of the maintenance team.
• Mentor maintenance staff in electrical, plumbing, appliances, and HVAC repairs.
• Perform maintenance repairs throughout the property and prepare units for move-ins.
• Manage work order process ensuring timely completion (24–48 hours).
• Track unit turns in Yardi; ensure safety and standards compliance.
