Job summary

Vista Multifamily Management, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Technician I to support the property under the supervision of the Maintenance Manager or Community Manager.

The role focuses on advanced maintenance tasks, troubleshooting electrical, plumbing, appliances, and HVAC, and overseeing unit turns and preventative maintenance to ensure high resident satisfaction. You will collaborate with management to meet occupancy goals, assist leasing teams, and maintain a safe, clean property.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• 2 years’ experience performing maintenance duties.
• Must have valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
• HVAC CFC preferred; EPA certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily maintenance operations.
• Mentor team in electrical, plumbing, appliances, and HVAC repairs.
• Perform maintenance repairs in common areas and units prior to new move-ins.
• Manage work orders and track in Yardi.
• Ensure turns meet timelines (5 days for non-renovated, 30 days renovated).
• Maintain supply inventory and safety compliance.
