Greystar is seeking an on-site Maintenance Technician to service a community in Houston. You will diagnose defects from resident requests and complete repairs to meet Greystar standards for cleanliness, safety, and functionality.

You will manage the make-ready process for vacant units, coordinate vendors, and ensure quality across grounds, exteriors, and common areas. Strong customer service and tool proficiency are essential.

Qualificações

• High school diploma, GED, or related training/experience.
• Experience in property maintenance or building maintenance.
• Must provide own hand tools unless prohibited by State law; know how to use tools safely.
• Able to read, write and communicate effectively to support management and residents.
• Proficiency in customer service and interpersonal communication.

Responsabilidades

• Respond to resident service requests and diagnose defects, performing repairs per policies and safety standards.
• Oversee make-ready process for vacant units, including inspections, punch lists, scheduling, and supplies.
• Maintain grounds, exteriors, and common areas to Greystar quality standards.
• Monitor contractors and maintain inventory; support budget and cost-control actions.
• Lead safety meetings and stay compliant with OSHA and MSDS requirements.
