Job summary

Greystar Worldwide, LLC is seeking a Maintenance Technician to oversee and perform essential upkeep of the community interiors and exteriors. You will diagnose issues from resident requests, perform repairs, and ensure units are ready for leasing with high standards of safety and appearance.

The role requires EPA HVAC certification, ability to work with tools, and strong communication with residents and team members.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or related experience.
• Experience in property maintenance or building maintenance.
• Ability to use hand and power tools safely.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively.
• Proficiency with basic computer/maintenance tracking systems.

Responsibilities

• Assists and completes work orders from resident requests and performs routine upkeep.
• Oversees and completes the make-ready process for vacant units by inspecting, scheduling, and coordinating tasks.
• Develops standards for cleanliness and appearance of grounds, exterior buildings, and common areas to reflect Greystar quality.
• Inspects work by staff and contractors to ensure quality and compliance with standards.
• Maintains inventory of spare parts and orders supplies as needed within budget.
• Performs monthly preventative maintenance procedures as outlined in policies.
