Job summary

Willow Bridge Property Company is seeking an experienced Maintenance Supervisor to oversee maintenance operations at a multi-family community. You will lead a skilled team, oversee safety programs, and coordinate with vendors to maintain property assets.

The role emphasizes hands-on leadership, preventive maintenance, and strong communication with residents and management. Ideal candidates have 5+ years in maintenance with property management exposure, expertise across trades, and HVAC/EPA/CPO

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years’ related maintenance experience, property management experience preferred.
• Proven ability to supervise and lead a team.
• Expert-level understanding and diagnosing electrical, carpentry, plumbing, HVAC, painting, carpet care, and appliance repair.
• Certifications preferred: HVAC, EPA & CPO where applicable.
• Excellent communication with management, vendors and residents.
• Proficient use of basic tools; able to operate a motor vehicle.
• Must be available for on-call and after-hours emergency assignments.
• Basic computer skills; familiarity with maintenance software (Yardi Mobile).

Responsibilities

• Ensure Make-readies and maintenance projects are completed on time according to WBPC quality standards.
• Maintains and updates all assigned service requests using Yardi Mobile until assignment is completed and closed.
• Troubleshoot and train maintenance staff on various trades (electrical, carpentry, plumbing, HVAC) for assessing function and recommending repair or replacement.
• Plan, schedule, and supervise maintenance staff in daily activities including maintenance, installation, repairs, turns, cleaning of grounds and common areas.
• Hire, train, and develop maintenance staff; ensure company policies, procedures and safety practices are applied.
• Communicates effectively within team, motivates staff, and conveys expectations and goals.
• Participates in department or regional meetings and community events; leads safety and department meetings with staff.
• Conduct regular safety inspections; train staff on handling chemicals and equipment; ensure OSHA compliance.
• Coordinate with vendors/contractors for installation, maintenance and repair work; manage budgets and procurement.
