Job summary

Shoreline Community College seeks a full-time Maintenance Supervisor 3 to lead a skilled maintenance team across campus facilities. You will direct work on plumbing, HVAC, electrical, and mechanical systems, ensuring safety and efficiency.

Under the Director of Facilities and Capital Projects, you will review plans, supervise contractors, and implement preventive maintenance programs while coordinating campus shutdowns and major projects.

Qualifications

• Minimum: High school diploma or equivalent and journeyman tradesworker status in a recognized trade.
• Five years as a journey tradesworker with two years in a lead or supervisory capacity.
• Valid Washington state driver’s license and knowledge of campus safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and direct maintenance work on plumbing, HVAC, electrical, and related systems.
• Serve as on‑call maintenance supervisor for emergency needs.
• Support capital projects by reviewing specs, blueprints, and submittals for planning and cost estimates.
• Coordinate campus shutdowns with project contractors and schedule training for staff.
• Develop and lead preventive maintenance programs for machinery and equipment.
• Update fixed assets and maintain accurate records in the work management system.
• Assist in planning training and safety measures for personnel.
