Job summary

Shoreline Container seeks a Maintenance Manager to lead maintenance personnel, manage capital projects, and drive continuous improvement in a manufacturing setting. You will oversee facility reliability, equipment upkeep, and safety compliance while collaborating with Operations, Engineering, Safety, and Purchasing.

Ideal candidates have a Bachelor’s degree and 2+ years in maintenance or project management within heavy industrial environments, with supervisory experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Industrial Technology, Maintenance Management, or related field preferred.
• 2+ years of maintenance, facilities, or project management experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience in paper, converting, pulp & paper, packaging, or heavy industrial manufacturing preferred.
• Prior supervisory or team leadership experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and support maintenance staff and contractors in daily operations and project execution.
• Manage all aspects of maintenance activities for facilities, including machinery care and facility maintenance.
• Coordinate preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance to maximize uptime.
• Prioritize maintenance work orders and allocate resources based on needs and production schedules.
• Develop and oversee cost-effective preventative maintenance programs.
• Promote safety culture and ensure compliance with policies.
• Assist in troubleshooting equipment failures and long-term corrective actions.
• Develop training initiatives for maintenance staff.
