Job summary

Seattle Center is seeking an Assistant Facility Maintenance Supervisor to oversee day-to-day operations for a 74-acre campus with 15 facilities. You will supervise Trades Crew Chiefs and staff across unions, manage budgets, and drive safety and efficiency in facilities maintenance.

The role reports to the TFM Manager and requires coordinating with project managers on campus redevelopment, scheduling, and compliance with TFM certifications. Hybrid in-office schedule applies.

Qualifications

• Six years of facilities operations and/or operational maintenance experience, including at least two years as a lead worker or supervisor in construction, remodeling, or structural maintenance of buildings or electrical or mechanical systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead event and facility operations, ensuring secure, seamless support for Seattle Center festivals and gatherings; partner with project managers on campus redevelopment initiatives.
• Supervise a team of 50 full-time and 85 intermittent staff, including three Crew Chiefs and various maintenance operations; navigate Collective Bargaining Agreements and maintain healthy relationships with Labor Unions.
• Manage department budgets, oversee billing, and resolve customer concerns, negotiating appropriate resolutions.
• Set and track maintenance service levels for the Campus, Armory, and McCaw Hall; administer vendor contracts and the Equipment Asset Management (EAM) system.
• Coordinate hiring, training, performance management, and scheduling using the ShiftBoard system; monitor compliance with required TFM certifications.
