Job summary

Ash Grove Cement Company is seeking an Electrical Supervisor to lead plant electrical maintenance and repair activities. You will schedule, assign and monitor electrical work, supervise technicians and contractors, and ensure safe, compliant execution with available materials and equipment.

You will also coordinate with others on preventive maintenance, troubleshoot major systems, assist in training staff, and document timekeeping and reports for operations across the plant.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 year / Associate Degree in electrical or related subject matter, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in electrical maintenance or related work.
• Strong problem-solving, judgment and leadership abilities.
• Knowledge of electrical circuits, PLCs, safety standards and lockout procedures.
• Ability to lead, direct and manage people and activities.

Responsibilities

• Schedule, coordinate and assign duties for plant electrical maintenance and repair work.
• Monitor progress and performance of electrical maintenance workers and contractors.
• Supervise electrical maintenance staff and ensure timely, safe work with proper materials.
• Generate and review work orders; minimize equipment downtime.
• Collaborate on preventive maintenance and troubleshoot major equipment.
• Assist in training electricians and organize installation or modification of equipment.
• Prepare timekeeping paperwork, close work orders and write reports.
