Qualifications

• Two years of full-time experience in apartment maintenance or related trade.
• English proficiency; bilingual in Spanish is a plus.
• EPA certification required.
• Own a basic set of hand tools.
• Valid driver’s license with good driving record and auto insurance.
• Willingness to travel between major metro areas; some weekends required.
• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Complete resident service requests within 24 hours.
• Assist in making units rent-ready (make-ready).
• Replace filters and clean HVAC vents; maintain sprinkler systems.
• Perform HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and painting tasks as needed.
• Perform custodial duties in common areas and grounds.
• Supervise sub-contractors and coordinate with vendors.
• Maintain records of preventive maintenance, inventories, and purchase orders.
• Be on-call for emergencies and participate in standby schedules.
