Job summary

Valiant Residential is seeking a Lead Maintenance to oversee property upkeep, perform repairs in resident apartments, and assist in preparing units for rent. This role requires a minimum of two years in apartment maintenance and skills across electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and HVAC.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years in apartment maintenance or a trade with basic electrical, plumbing, carpentry and HVAC knowledge.
• Strong verbal and written English communication; bilingual in Spanish is a plus.
• EPA refrigerant certifications and tool ownership are required.

Responsibilities

• Complete resident service requests within 24 hours.
• Perform make-ready prep and refurbish apartments prior to occupancy.
• Replace filters, service HVAC systems, and perform light electrical/plumbing tasks.
• Maintain sprinkler systems and pool chemical levels.
• Supervise subcontractors and report safety or liability issues immediately.
• Keep records of work orders, inventories, and preventive maintenance.
• Assist in inspections and on-call standby coverage.
