Qualifications

• Experience maintaining interior and exterior facility appearance.
• Knowledge of Life Safety Codes and building standards.
• Ability to diagnose mechanical issues and determine corrective actions.
• Proficient in using hand and power tools for repairs.
• Ability to communicate effectively with residents and teams.

Responsibilities

• Repair or replace defective equipment parts using hand tools and power tools, and reassemble equipment.
• Perform routine preventive maintenance to ensure machines run smoothly and buildings stay safe.
• Diagnose mechanical problems and determine corrective actions by checking blueprints and manuals.
• Inspect, operate, and test machinery to diagnose malfunctions.
• Clean and lubricate shafts, bearings, gears, and other moving parts.
• Follow life safety plan and emergency management procedures.
• Provide excellent customer service to residents and keep grounds orderly.
