Job summary

DHA Housing Solutions for North Texas in North Texas seeks a Lead Maintenance Technician to keep rental properties safe and well-maintained for residents. You will repair and replace hardware, plumbing, HVAC components, doors, windows, and electrical systems under supervision, and prepare units for occupancy.

Expect to supervise maintenance staff, coordinate tasks, manage supplies, and deliver strong customer service.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in a technical vocational program.
• Three years of building maintenance, plumbing and cleaning experience.
• One year of supervisory experience.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair DHA’s inventory of rental housing properties.
• Repair or replace hardware, cabinets, fixtures, doors, windows, locks and flooring.
• Install and maintain plumbing fixtures; perform routine HVAC maintenance.
• Replace electrical switches, circuits and outlets under supervision.
• Prepare vacant units for occupancy and ensure safety compliance.
• Coordinate maintenance staff duties and evaluate performance.
• Provide excellent customer care to residents.
