Qualifications

• Ability to communicate effectively with internal and external customers at all levels of the organization.
• Proficient use of basic tools and machines for maintenance tasks.
• Ability to interpret blueprints, repair manuals and parts catalogs.
• Demonstrates proactive approach to inspecting and maintaining equipment.

Responsibilities

• Repair or replace defective equipment parts using hand tools and power tools, and reassemble equipment.
• Perform routine preventive maintenance to ensure machines run smoothly and building systems operate efficiently.
• Diagnose mechanical problems and determine corrective actions using manuals and diagrams.
• Inspect, operate, and test machinery and equipment to diagnose malfunctions.
• Clean and lubricate shafts, bearings, gears, and other moving parts.
• Manage and apply life safety policies and participate in disaster readiness activities.
