Job summary
Aegis Manufacturing & Engineering in Port Huron, MI is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to oversee maintenance and facilities operations, coordinate schedules, and drive continuous improvement. This direct-hire role requires leadership of the maintenance team and liaison with leadership on policy application and employee relations.
The successful candidate will troubleshoot electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems, implement preventative maintenance plans, and work with PLCs,
Qualifications
- Broad mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic troubleshooting/repair experience.
- Proficient in PLC troubleshooting and controlling equipment.
- Experience with preventive maintenance planning and facilities maintenance.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, single and three-phase power, and electrical troubleshooting.
- Familiar with lockout/tagout (LOTO) and root cause analysis.
Responsibilities
- Oversees maintenance and facility operations, coordinating divisional activities.
- Performs electrical, mechanical, pneumatic repairs on production equipment.
- Diagnoses and troubleshoots motor controls on 3-phase equipment and control circuits.
- Designs and implements controls for new or refurbished projects.
- Identifies parts and quotes parts for repairs.
