Job summary

Hydro Aluminum Metals in Cassopolis, Michigan, is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to oversee maintenance operations at our facility. The role requires strong technical expertise, leadership ability, and a commitment to safe and efficient equipment operation.

The successful candidate will lead technicians, implement preventive maintenance, troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and PLC systems, and coordinate with vendors to ensure timely parts and services.

• Strong planning and scheduling of preventive maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Promote and be a steward of our Safety Culture and Core Values.
• Ensure maintenance activities comply with safety regulations and policies.
• Ensure proper LOTO procedures and permits for safe maintenance operations.
• Lead and supervise a team of maintenance technicians.
• Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules to minimize downtime.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and PLC issues and perform repairs.
• Maintain inventory of spare parts and coordinate procurement.
• Coordinate with vendors for equipment and facility maintenance.
• Investigate and report accidents and incidents.
• Perform routine safety inspections and maintain housekeeping.
• Provide coaching and training to technicians.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and equipment status.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices.
• Provide back-up maintenance support.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
