Job summary

Avir Trilogy seeks a qualified nurse to provide direct care to residents and supervise day-to-day nursing activities in the unit. The role ensures adherence to federal, state, and local standards, and to facility policies and procedures, as directed by the Director of Nursing.

Responsibilities include maintaining residents' rights, managing admissions and discharges, and reporting incidents. Strong leadership and English proficiency are required.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited school of practical nursing or vocational nursing.
• Valid State license to practice nursing.
• I.V. certification preferred.
• Must be able to write and speak the English language.
• Must possess leadership and supervisory ability and the willingness to work harmoniously with professional and non-professional personnel.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to residents.
• Supervise the day-to-day nursing activities of the assigned unit.
• Ensure compliance with current Federal, State, and local standards and our policies and procedures.
• Maintain Rights of Residents as set forth by the Texas Department of Health Laws and Regulations.
• Admit, transfer and discharge residents as required.
• Complete accident/incident reports as necessary.
• Assist the Infection Control Committee and ensure universal precautions are followed.
• Inspect storage rooms and report deficiencies to maintain safety and sanitation.
