Zusammenfassung

The University of Colorado Anschutz (ARTS) is seeking an experienced Medication Dispensing Nurse, LPN II, to assess patients for substance use treatment eligibility and to dispense medications in ARTS Adult Outpatient or Opioid Treatment Programs across Aurora, Arvada, Denver and surrounding areas.

Responsibilities include administering medications, monitoring patients, drawing blood, and ensuring accurate records.

Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or GED.
• One year of nursing, dispensing medication, or related experience.
• Valid LPN/RN license with Colorado DORA.

Aufgaben

• Administer medications such as Methadone, Suboxone, Naltrexone and others.
• Transport narcotics per DEA/state/federal rules including lock box usage.
• Monitor vital signs and patient health status.
• Draw blood for analysis and obtain test results.
• Administer TB tests and assess adverse reactions.
• Handle infectious materials per policy and procedure.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Nurse Program Manager.
• Deliver medications to off-site locations in the Denver area.
