Job summary

Healthcare Services Group (HCSG) is seeking a Certified Dietary Manager to oversee the dining program at a single long-term care site. You will ensure high food quality, manage inventory and records, and enforce safety standards while aligning with client menus and regulations.

You will train staff, perform duties as needed, and maintain strong communication with managers, supervisors, and residents to deliver excellent dining services.

Qualifications

• CDM certification required.
• Associate’s degree or higher in food service management or hospitality preferred.
• Two years of experience in quantity food production/service and personnel supervision preferred.
• Must obtain Food Protection Manager (FPM) within 14 days of employment.
• Must obtain Food Service Manager (FSM) and LTC-FSM within 60 days.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support the food service team to meet quality and safety standards.
• Maintain records of income, expenditures, food supplies, personnel, and equipment.
• Conduct staff training, quality control, and in-service sessions.
• Communicate directives from managers to HCSG staff effectively.
• Follow safety, infection control, and cleaning procedures.
• Represent HCSG positively through interactions with staff and residents.
