Job summary

Healthcare Services Group, Inc. is seeking a Dining Services Department Manager to lead the dining program at a single long-term care facility. You will ensure high food quality, regulatory compliance, and outstanding resident service.

The role requires a CDM/DSS or nutrition degree, supervisory experience, and the ability to train staff. This on-site position offers a starting pay of USD 34.00 per hour with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• CDM or DSS credential or a 4 year degree in Nutrition or Dietetics is required.
• Associate’s degree or higher in food service management or hospitality preferred.
• Two years of experience in quantity food production/service and supervision preferred.
• Must obtain Food Protection Manager (FPM) within 14 days of employment.
• Must obtain Food Service Manager (FSM) and LTC-FSM within 60 days.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Residency within the service area required.
• Compliance with COVID-19 vaccination policies.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support the food service team to meet quality and safety standards.
• Maintain records of income, expenditures, food supplies, personnel, and equipment.
• Conduct staff training, quality control, and in-service sessions; perform roles as needed.
• Communicate directives from client managers, building occupants, and administrators to staff.
• Follow infection control, universal precautions, and handwashing procedures.
• Maintain attendance, punctuality, and timely completion of tasks.
• Represent HCSG positively with supervisors, co-workers, residents and guests.
• All other duties as assigned.
