Job summary

RTX is seeking a seasoned materials lead for on-site work in Tucson, AZ. You will drive material development, characterization, and system integration across Raytheon product lines, applying advanced signature control techniques and CEM tools.

You will collaborate with customers and suppliers, mentor junior engineers, and participate in program reviews. The role requires a STEM degree with extensive experience (10+ years) or an advanced degree with at least 7 years, plus a current DoD Top Secret

Qualifications

Requires STEM degree and 10+ years of experience, or an advanced degree with 7+ years of experience.
Experience in Low Observable or Radar materials.
Experience with material characterization, testing/prediction, and/or integration on air vehicles.
Experience with customer and supplier collaboration.

Responsibilities

Develop and characterize materials and processes; support integration across Raytheon product lines.
Perform material measurements and predict performance using computational tools.
Lead integrated product teams in implementing advanced signature control techniques.
Prepare engineering documentation; interface with customers and suppliers.
Mentor junior engineers and drive program reviews and project management.
