Job summary

RTX in Tucson, AZ is seeking an experienced materials engineer to lead material and process development across Raytheon product lines. This onsite role focuses on characterization, RF properties, and integration of advanced signature control techniques into deliverable products.

You will mentor early career engineers, contribute to program reviews, and work within integrated product teams to ensure system performance meets stringent DoD requirements. A TS clearance is required to day one.

Qualifications

• Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM).
• Experience with Low Observable or radar materials.
• Experience with material characterization, testing, and integration.

Responsibilities

• Material and process development and integration across Raytheon product lines.
• Characterization of material performance and RF attenuation properties.
• Generate predicted material performance using CEM tools.
• Lead integrated product teams to incorporate signature control techniques.
• Prepare engineering documentation and support customer/supplier interfaces.
• Mentor early career engineers and drive program reviews.
